My nephew, Lewis is a top kid. Battling through health problems (not unlike me as a child) he has headed for sport, or more specifically athletics as his focus (whereas I went with computers). Every time I see him he tells me about the medals he’s won, or his dad (my brother) tells me he’s top of the tree in his age group across the entire UK in one of his three disciplines of running (mainly 75m), javelin (or vortex) throwing, or long jump.
I am going to say on public record now. Whilst he likely wont be old enough in 4 years time, in 8 years time when the Olympics come round again, at the moment I’d almost guarantee that he’d be at Istanbul, Tokyo or Madrid winning a gold for England
Clippings below are reproduced from the Bromsgrove Advertiser clipping facility from the electronic version of the newspaper. I aim to update each with a link to the appropriate page on the electronic paper so that it can be seen in context. Hopefully future clippings I will do this as I’m taking them.

In the Redditch Standard, coverage was made on Lewis’ trip to Leicester
And the Bromsgrove and Redditch Athletics Club reported on Lewis’ wins at the Much Wenlock Olympian Games
