I can now see why people can die from the flu
Christmas and new year has been pants. Big style pants. Not skinny little briefs, but pants … and big ones…
Chez and I have both got “the flu”. Whether its swine flu, porky flu, or any other variant, I dont know, all I know is that we’ve both had it since pre Christmas and we just can’t shift it. I can only speak for myself but its wiped Christmas and New Year out completely in terms of “enjoying” – its been “enduring” instead. I bought a Kinect for the XBox as a little pressie to myself and given that you need to be active, I just havent been able to do anything but the odd game of ping pong 🙁 Its my 40th Birthday this time next week and I have no hope whatsoever that it will shift between now and then. People we’ve spoken to have said anything from 2 to 4 weeks. For Chez its been about 2 weeks, for me its been a day or two less. Ive now got a chest infection and have been coughing up gunk for England. If I could just get rid of my terrible cough, I’d be happier. Coughing so much you can hardly breathe is not nice.
Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone. Its my first blog of the new year. I hope within the next few weeks we can get some of the wedding photo’s uploaded.
