Friday to Monday, 400 mile round trip and so far, a pile of rain.
Leaving work early on Friday afternoon helped avoid some traffic and lessened my holiday day requirements. However the A11 coming off towards Norwich was very slow (about 10 MPH) but the overall journey took just under 4 hours. Since then its rained. Pretty much permanently. All through the night, stopping for an hour around 10 Ish and we got sporadic clear breaks to spend time in Great Yarmouth but then it rained again and now as I type at 20:30 on Sat Eve in the caravan, it is sheeting it down
I think Gt Yarmouth is a misnomer. ‘Yar mouth is for more than chips’ should be it. The amount of chip bars in the centre. Id guess a dozen within half a mile and two were next door to each other. I know its near the sea so there are plenty of reasons for fish but they were everywhere.
Will upload some pictures soon
The upside is the caravan is good. Cold, but nice
Ant has been trying to get a meerkat toy for Auntie nic for ages and finally got one today from the grabbing machines spent a fortune but hey ho..
