Today (sun 8th as we near midnight), was the 2 year anniversary of me asking Chez to marry me (8 mins past 8 on 08/08/08). We decided to go out for a meal but on going to the local pub the wait for a table was 30 mins … Id forgotton how many other people would also be celebrating an anniversary … obviously a popular pub on a sunday night! Anyway, attempt 2 was Pizza Hut in Bromsgrove. Weve had loads of problems before with them but gave them another go. Bad idea. Theyd run out of barbecue sauce by lunchtime. Theyd run out of mushrooms and they had now restricted themselves to just 2 j2o flavours despite for years serving more. We gave up and left. Indirectly costing £6.40 for a coke. Ant knocked his over .. drinking none of it. Id drunk mine so got charged £4 for drinks and the car park ate my quid so it was £2.40 for up to 2 hrs but we were there less than 20 mins.
Finally got a decent meal at another pub although by then Id lost my appetite.
Pizza Hut … you have gone from the best pizza restaurant 20 years ago to the worst now. And Chez … sorry for a far from ideal anniversary
