Last year I spent quite some time putting boards in the loft to provide storage. After filling it up we needed more space. Over the last few weekends the plan was to put rows of 4 boards across the width of the house doubling the space we had. Unfortunately wires and structural boards on one side meant we couldn’t do much on one side but we’ve gained at least 50% more space up there and replaced some old boards which were too thin (thanks Dad for putting them up 15 years ago).
Have to thank Ant and his mate Jack for helping out greatly. Also managed to get some insulation into the rafters to keep the loft contents warmer 🙂
Not sure if my doctors would agree with me doing stuff like this though ! Chest tubes  and jigsaw blades don’t really go together but so pleased its now done
