The wedding is getting closer now. In case I’ve told people the wrong date, its 4th December, not 11th December ! I wouldnt have turned up a week late though as I’d have noticed the kerfuffle a week before and that would have piqued my interest 🙂 In my defence, we wanted the 11th – partly because the 18th was too close to Christmas but 11th conflicts with something at the church so it was the 4th. I proposed on 08/08/08 and, in the American way of showing dates, the 11th would have been 12/11/10 but hey ho !
Church booked, venue booked and a friend is doing the photography, so now its clothes sorting, and soon invitations, cake, cars etc. The blokes clothes (rental) are sorted. That was a 10 minute discussion and a deposit. Chez is trying to find a wedding dress and we are going to loads of wedding fairs to find bridesmaids outfits and shoes. Chocca Mocca Latte seems to be the order of the day. I think we are getting there though. Just got back from another 2 wedding fairs. Need to get a dress for my niece from my first marriage as we’ve just got a dress sorted for my brothers daughter and shoes are sorted for both of them. Things are certainly moving
