Before the garages were knocked down, we all thought that the car parking issues would be over when they were finally gone. When they were knocked down it certainly helped – cars that used to park on the roadside were now able to park in a car parking spot and occasionally you could even get on the car park at 7pm – something that had been impossible for several years. However within months of them being knocked down, we are regularly getting people double parking, blocking people in and generally making it difficult to get out of the carpark even if you get a space!
